Vacation in the Rocky Mountains July 2004

July 3rd Landslide Lake

As a one way ride you can start from Landslide Lake at an elevation of 1375m, climb to 2500m in 5km, then descend to Pinto Lake12.9km later at an elevation of ~1300m! Maybe next time...

We started at Pinto lake and did an out and back along the Cline River. A steady climb that made for a ripper descent back to the cars.

One of the many fine views of these Rocky Mountain Ranges.

With all the rain that was falling over the last week the creeks were running high!

Lee on one of the little drops on the trail.

Yup, the river was high!

It was all downhill on the way back!

This area has some very remote and beautiful terrain that we may have to check out over a future weekend!
