Bearfoot Bistro – Dad’s birthday

It’s not every day one turns 82! Sharon and I treated Mum and Dad to an overnight stay at the Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler then a magnificent, tastefully done dinner at the Bearfoot Bistro. What a show they put on and what food!

I can’t recommend the Bearfoot highly enough. They made my parents exceptionally happy. The Happy Birthday made-at-your table ice-cream was literally the icing on cake.

Thanks to Sam, Michael, all the staff at the Bearfoot and to Jamie who was there in spirit!

Dad 26 years old being all hipster and stuff at RAF Henlow in Beds, England
Dad and me hanging out and having a good laugh. Dad’s 33 years old. When I was 33 yo all I did was work 12 hours/day at law and race bikes.

Even I could handle (well a sip anyhow) this Piedmont dessert wine – it was sooo smooth
