Rockies Day 5 – Jumping Pound Cox Hill

Aug 8th – Day 5 of riding. Jumping Pound Cox Hill – A Kananaskis Classic, this is a great ride that gives you a nice long alpine traverse. We parked at the start of the climb, did the ride and sent Lee to do the 15km road ride back to get the car. Not doing the road ride makes this a pretty quick easy ride! The ride ends at the Dawson day use/camp area. This would also be a great option for camping. There are many place to travel in the world. Really we should check them out sometime. For some reason the Canadian Rockies keep calling us back.

We did not start at Canyon creek, but the trail before that. This offers a shorter, steep singletrack climb to Jumpingpound Ridge.
