Last day of skiing for the New Mexicans; an anticipated 40 to 50 cms of snow turned out to be “only” 20 cms. High winds knocked out half of Vancouver’s power from what we could hear on the radio and with the weekend crowds, it was ugly for liftlines up high. I sat out again with the gimpy knee. Apparently there was still snow to be had but it was packed lineups everywhere and heavier snow then before. Here’s Carl in In the Spirit off the Crystal Chair. Emma making tracks. I gave Bill Carey the camera to take pics today as there were entirely too many Bill Carey pictures.
Bill Roth slicing and dicing in the tree-bombed snow. The high winds were making a mess of all the pow by blowing off debris from the trees.
The group hits the top part of the CBC trees.
Emma makes her run.
Glacier Chair finally opens; the lineup to bootpack into Spankys is alarming so they head over to Pakalolo – here goes Bill Roth.
Then after the Spanky’s lineup subsides Sharon leads off into Wild One off Diamond Bowl
